I know, I can hear you…”How are you bored? You just moved to a new city”?
I suppose bored is a rather harsh word. However this whole home all day without a car and no human interaction thing is starting to get to me. I know, I know, it actually sounds fantastic, no work, no chores, no errands, nothing on a to-do list…perfect. However going from a 60-hour work week at full speed to blank, nothing, nada…it’s an adjustment. Perhaps today I will walk to the clubhouse and sit on their computers in hopes to overhear a conversation between other human beings. Better yet, maybe the leasing office will let me respond to some emails or file…only joking, people.
For real though, I am so antsy for this weekend. We have a few appointments on Saturday at apartments closer to the city and out of suburbia! I also plan on making some more calls today to set up some for Sunday. I will say, apartment searching is very difficult when you have no concept of the areas you are looking into. I’ve organized some questions and a few things that will be different, and more difficult than just searching around Columbus; into a lovely organized list. This list will help me feel like I’ve accomplished something today.
