The swimming, the sunbathing, the snorkeling, the kayaking, the biking, the boating, the eating, the drinking…need I continue?
Pensacola Florida: It’s an odd little city.
In the panhandle of Florida, yet so close to Alabama (insert some sort of slur about Bama football..because that’s a thing *rolls eyes*). Pensacola Florida, it’s slightly a melting pot of people due to the large Military presence, the retirees, and the Universities. OH, but it’s oh so southern, that’s for sure!
The downtown is one long street filled with little shops, office space, and restaurants. If you walk all the way to the end of that long street though, the view of the bay is breathtaking. On any given weekend there are farmer’s markets, parades, gallery nights, and food festivals. Even though it’s not a huge city, I will give Pensacola props in that there is always something going on.
